Write Night is moving online!

Join us on the New Writing South Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/newwritingsouth for an exclusive Facebook Live interview with novelist Evie Wyld. 

Date: Thursday 16 April, 6pm (NB this is an online event, via Facebook Live)

Evie Wyld will be in conversation with Wayne Herbert on the processes of (re-)writing, discovery and editing in her novel-writing practice. Get an insight into how her work has evolved and changed during the writing process.
Even award-winning writers don’t always get it right in the first draft. Join us for what will be a fascinating insight into a successful author’s writing world.

Evie Wyld's debut novel, After the Fire, A Still Small Voice, was shortlisted for the Impac Prize and awarded the John Llewellyn Rhys Prize. Her second, All the Birds, Singing, won the Miles Franklin Prize, the Encore Prize and the EU Prize for Literature, and shortlisted for the Costa Best Novel awards. In 2013 she was named as one of Granta’s Best of Young British Novelists, having previously been named by the BBC as one of the twelve best new British writers. She lives in Peckham.

Her new novel – The BASS ROCK was published by Jonathan Cape on 26 March.
