Dear All,
We have now opened the Weekend Schools up to everyone on the Creative Writing Programme including the Advanced Writing Workshop and Advanced Poetry Workshop groups (There are further details on your course page). These Weekend Schools will run over the remaining weekends in November and early December. The remaining places will go to whoever books them first! (Groups are capped at 15).
We are offering a range of sessions related to topics taught in this term's courses on the Creative Writing and Creative Non Fiction Programme. We are also adding a new session on writing during a Climate Emergency which may also be of interest to writers who are not on the two-year programmes. Here's an interesting piece by Ben Okri's in today's Guardian: 'We Must Write as if these are the Last Days':
There are still one or two places left on Susannah Water's 'The Journey There and Back'. Advanced Writing Workshop writers might be interested in this session. Susannah has a considerable reputation as a freelance story editor in the publishing world. If you're interested, please book and get your submissions in by Wednesday 17th (We've extended the deadline from the 15th to allow for additional writers to join the session).
I hope you enjoy these sessions
All best, Mark
